This typical Markneukirchner violin was built by Arno Müller. Little is known of him. Born in 1896, he worked as a violin maker in Markneukirchen and from 1956 in Marburg. The instrument was probably made before 1956 in Markneukirchen. It has a beautiful, deeply flamed, whole bottom. After extensive tests, it impresses with a full, balanced sound that is present in all registers.
