Very fine violin by Ludwig Fritz Heberlein from Markneukirchen. He was the son and student of August Eduard Heberlein and passed his master's examination in Markneukirchen in 1920. The instrument shown here has a divided, beautifully flamed bottom and a finely crafted, deeply pierced snail. The yellow-brown, very well preserved lacquer gives the instrument a special character.
