Very beautiful violin by Franz Zucker from Schönbach, today's Luby in the Czech Republic, which the master probably built in the 1930s. He is rather unknown, but occasionally his instruments are auctioned off. The violin gets its character from the amber-colored lacquer and the beautifully flamed maple back.
